Not for Leisure (N4L) is an interdisciplinary reading series, arts collective, and publisher based in New York City. Founded by a group of working writers and artists in the summer of 2025, N4L organizes dynamic programs to facilitate creative exchange and communal interconnectivity.  Poetry steers our work but does not solely define it; N4L is equally an organization made of/for photographers, musicians, performers, video artists, programmers, and illustrators. We take everything we do very seriously. After all, it’s 𝓷𝓸𝓽 𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝓵𝓮𝓲𝓼𝓾𝓻𝓮, 𝓫𝓾𝓽 𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮.
